• * Participation requires Deep Diving and Enriched Air Nitrox 40 certifications (or equivalent qualifications) as well as appropriate diving experience. When completing the course in a sidemount configuration, a Sidemount certification is required, while prior completion of the Extended Range Sidemount course is strongly recommended.

How we work

Training is conducted according to the **Sidemount Precision Protocol** methodology, built on precision, procedures, and the conscious development of diving skills. Whether the course is completed in a Twinset or Extended Range Sidemount configuration, special attention is given to proper equipment setup, procedural accuracy, and the development of strong diving habits.

New skills are first practiced on land before being transferred into the water. Throughout the course, we use video analysis to evaluate diver positioning, technique, and procedural execution. This allows participants to receive detailed feedback and develop their skills in a structured and measurable way.

## Course Structure

The course begins with online academic sessions covering decompression planning, gas management, decompression procedures, and safety protocols. The academic portion includes a minimum of five hours of instruction, providing a solid foundation for the practical training.

Practical training starts with skill development and procedural practice in confined water. Depending on logistics and site conditions, part of the training may be conducted in shallow water environments, allowing divers to focus on technique, buoyancy, and procedural proficiency before progressing to greater depths.

The program includes a minimum of six open water training dives. Depth is increased progressively as skills develop, with the final dives conducted at depths appropriate for the SSI Extended Range program, up to a maximum of 45 meters.
