How we work
We follow the Sidemount Precision Protocol methodology, built on precision, procedures, and the conscious development of diving skills. Special attention is given to proper equipment configuration and individual setup, as comfort and safety underwater begin long before entering the water.
New skills are first practiced on land before being transferred into the water. Throughout the course, we use video analysis to evaluate positioning, technique, and procedures, allowing divers to receive detailed feedback and make measurable improvements.
Course schedule
The SSI Basic Sidemount course begins with online learning, allowing you to become familiar with the theory and key concepts before the practical training starts.
The practical portion is conducted over two full training days, typically running from morning until evening. During this time, we focus on equipment configuration, dry drills, confined water exercises, open water dives, and skill development through continuous coaching and video review.
